Ballet Tap and Dance
Our RCA Dance program has been going on for 10 years, and is taught by Mrs. Maxine Rando. It is open to all children, VPK and up: beginner through advanced. Ballet is a creative art form. The beauty of movement comes to life through the art of ballet. Ballet originally comes from the Italian, French and Russian cultures, taking the music, terminology and music to the dance art. The music is age appropriate to give the children a great introduction to classical music.
Our tap dance classes teach children the basics of tap and counting out the rhythm of the beats as well as timing that is needed.
The novelty jazz class is done with age appropriate music and fun moves to show-tunes and Christian music. The RCA Dance Recital is held each year, so parents and guests can see our students’ abundant talent. Character development is a part of RCA’s Dance Program, since students are learning discipline, as they develop socially and emotionally through dance.
