Safety Patrols are sponsored by AAA and are in place to watch for and ensure the safety of every student during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures. Safety Patrols are select students in 5th/6th grade and on occasion students from 4th grade with a high maturity level. There is no cost involved with becoming a safety patrol and the Patrols operate on a demerit system. Leadership opportunities exist for a Captain and Lieutenant and meetings occur during school hours, only when necessary. Safety patrols are rewarded yearly for their duties with a trip to Fun Spot.
